Woohoo! Made it another week. Today was interesting weather wise. Thankfully, the really hard rain waited until T has picked R up from school. Tim had the day off so he let a very excited little ride his bike to school. Hoping to go to the butchers this weekend as opposed to getting it at the grocery store. Trying to support the local guys! I’m going to try to make a “big” meal once a week or something I associate more with a family sit down meal. I’ve got some good ideas, hopefully I can follow through. Nothing planned for this weekend, just grocery shopping… oh wait… that’s not true. We need to move the sand box to see if the bees are still living under it. If they are I have no idea what to do… I think they are honey bees but I don’t know bees. All I know is they make me scream and run inside. I’m such a wuss when it comes to bees and wasps. Riley got stung when he was little by a bee. Tim has been chased by wasps. I hope to never experience either of those. I suppose we should measure for the new sand box/playhouse I am hoping Tim and I will build for the boys this summer. R informed us that the backyard is boring and there is nothing to do… 5 year olds. Back in the day all I had was a stick! Anyways, before I should my age I’ll stop talking about it.
Going out Wednesday. T’s parents offered to go out after Riley’s Spring Concert! I’m so looking forward to it. I was sad when they didn’t have a Christmas concert but I’m hoping this is going to be awesome and not a repeat of the Christmas Concert in preschool where he picked his nose and cried through the whole thing. Yup, I was a proud Momma that night… I had “that” kid.
Have a good weekend everybody! Enjoy the nice weather!
