Twenty one days later and I still have a ache in my heart and I sometimes still wake up in a pool of sweat after I’ve had to drag my mind out of the nightmare that keeps occurring, not every night now so I guess thats something.  My file was closed yesterday so I guess that means I’m done?  Not sure I’ll ever really be done emotionally with this.  My final follow up is next week but so far no complications have emerged.  Other than this annoying ache in my neck I’m in perfect health.  At least as far as I know.  Of course if you know me, I’ve convinced myself I have some kind of terrible neck cancer.  Don’t worry I’ll ask next week.  My poor Dr.

Camping was good for the boys and I distracted myself with making dirty jokes probably a little more than was necessary.  Trying to fill the silence so that my mind wouldn’t wander off into the sadness that it is so easily consumed in.  Twenty one days later and my days are better but my nights are still meh.  Camping helped me to focus on making sure we weren't going to be consumed by a bear or a cougar or coyotes.  We made s’mores although for some reason I couldn’t get my marshmallows perfect...  guess I need more practice.  We set off rockets.  Which the boys loved and made for a ton of opening lines into dirty jokes.  I didn’t have a rocket so I guess my contribution was the dirty jokes.

CSA starts next week.  I am SUPER excited about it, even the kohlrabi!  Also means that we will be getting yummy meat again from our favourite butcher.
